  • What is NGS PC On-Demand?

    NGS PC is a subscription based PC based diagnostic platform for Ford vehicles.

  • Which Ford vehicles does NGS PC On-Demand cover?

    NGS PC covers all OBDII compliant cars and trucks from 1996 – 2014.

  • What testing can I perform with NGS PC On-Demand?

    NGS PC On-Demand performs all the same diagnostics as NGS PC. This includes full DTC, PID, and Active Commands in all modules on Ford vehicles, both generic and proprietary. Additionally you can perform PATS programming, Power Balance misfire diagnostics and EVAP testing.

  • I already have NGS PC. Do I have to uninstall it to use NGS PC On-Demand?

    No. Both programs can be installed together on your PC. You will want to keep your original NGS PC software, as it does not time out. You only need to subscribe to NGS PC On-Demand to diagnose 2013 and newer Ford vehicles.

  • If I’ve never owned NGS PC before, do I still have to purchase a subscription when I buy an NGS PC kit?

    New purchases of NGS PC will come with a 30 day trial subscription. You can use it with full functionality for 30 days before you need to purchase a new subscription. If you already own an NGS PC cable, simply download and install the trial version from either the NGS PC On-Demand web page or our Download Center, purchase a subscription, and you’re ready to go.

  • Is the subscription based on days of usage or calendar days?

    All subscriptions are calendar based. The subscription begins upon activation of a new purchase or entering of the activation code. A warning will pop up when NGS PC has 24 hours left on the subscription.

  • How do I subscribe?

    You can subscribe over the Internet. When you launch NGS PC On-Demand, a subscription box opens. Follow the simple prompts to purchase and activate your software. There is also a quick video on our company web site, Facebook page and You Tube channel demonstrating the subscription process.

  • What if I don’t have Internet access when my subscription expires?

    Contact our Customer Care department at 1-800-342-5080 or 216-541-8060. You can also purchase subscriptions and save them on your PC for future activation.

  • How much does a subscription cost?

    Subscriptions come in 3 options. 7 day, 30 day and 1 year. Currently a 7 day subscription is $39.00, 30 day is $99.00 and 1 year is $495.00. These prices are subject to change, and you will always know the cost before finalizing a payment.

  • How do I pay for a subscription?

    Payments are made with a credit card through Paypal. You do not need a Paypal account to subscribe.
